The client needed a flexible and scalable eLearning platform that would facilitate the creation and editing of learning materials and exams. The product had to meet the needs of teachers by providing real-time course status and test results information. For students, it needed to allow quick and easy access to digital materials and the ability to comfortably take tests wherever and whenever they preferred.

Our client sought a software development company with experience in creating customized eLearning platforms from scratch. Unow Solutions was chosen for the task due to our previous experience with similar projects.

The platform had to focus on end-users, as user preferences varied based on their digital skills. Therefore, we standardized the interface to better support functionality and achieve a quick learning curve.

Our Solution

At Unow Solutions, we developed a user-friendly interface, avoiding distracting elements that could overwhelm users. The effective solution we created included the following enhancements:

• Implemented a flow of information on course progress and scores between students and teachers.

• Integrated a slide editor for intuitive and straightforward course creation and editing within the same platform.

• Implemented SSO with Google for seamless authentication.

• Achieved a multi-language platform in Catalan and Spanish, with the ability to add any additional languages with minimal effort.

• Configured a virtual server on AWS tailored to the platform's needs, including instance type selection, operating system setup, security configuration, and networking.

• Installed Kubernetes on the AWS server and configured it for automatic scaling based on demand, ensuring optimal performance and preventing bottlenecks.
